The Factory Finish Difference: Common Questions
Q: Will my cabinets look "painted" with brush marks?
A: Absolutely not. We do not use brushes on doors or drawers. We use HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) sprayers to apply a flawless, glass-smooth finish that looks identical to a brand-new factory cabinet. It is indistinguishable from a factory finish.
Q: Will the paint chip or peel around the handles?
A: No. We don't use standard wall paint. We use 2K Polyurethane or Industrial Wood Coatings (the same hard-shell finish used by cabinet manufacturers). This finish is resistant to grease, moisture, and daily wear, ensuring it won't peel or chip like standard latex paint.
Q: Do you spray inside my house? Is it messy?
A: We take the doors and drawer fronts off-site to our spray shop for the heavy work. For the fixed boxes remaining in your kitchen, we build a pressurized containment zone with floor-to-ceiling plastic and air scrubbers. This means no dust travels to the rest of your home, and your kitchen stays protected.
Q: How long does the process take?
A: A typical kitchen transformation takes 5 to 7 days. Since we spray the doors off-site, we are only in your actual home for 2–3 days to prep and spray the frames. It is significantly faster than a full remodel (which can take 6–8 weeks).
